I normally take today off to pay my respects to the veterans who fought for my freedom, but because I took last week off work I am unable to attend the ceremonies in Streetsville. I would still like to give my thanks.

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old,

Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

Well done! Too many people have already forgotten what Remembrance Day is all about - and they've no idea how many people died and sacrificed so much so that we can enjoy our freedom today. Thank you, Dad, and thank you to all of those special souls who gave so much!
